On Seeing the Guys During the Actual Riffing

I LOVED this feature. I remember a little while ago, during the last live, streaming show(and the second run of it), Kevin Murphy joined the chat while the video was showing and I said that I loved seeing the guys riff along with the movie (I used the username Spiticus if anyone was there too). It was always a part of MST3K that I really missed here; that is, seeing in some form, the people who are doing the riffing. The silhouettes looked great for the show, and it looks like the guys at Rifftrax are trying a few different ways to incorporate themselves. For the latest riff that I've seen that included this feature was Jack the Giant Killer. It really added to the immersion for me to see the guys instead of disembodied voices. I'd love to see it in all the other riffs where they have the rights for the movie itself.

That being said, there were a few things that could make this even better. For one, instead of having timed out breaks between just the movie and the movie and the guys together, maybe edit it to points where a viewer would definitely want to see the riffers...such as during a 3-riffer joke, jokes where some form of body movement adds to it, ones where they just all crack up laughing, etc... Just doing some deliberate editing with the back and forth would be wonderful. Or, you could just have the option to see the entire movie with or without the guys. I'm not sure if that would take up more space than you would want, but it would definitely work for blu-rays that could be sold.

And finally, I just wanted to say I really did love the Jack the Giant Killer riff and I hope to see more of that type of format in the future.

You know that these Live shows were broadcast live in about 400 theaters right?  There is another one coming up in August.
