This was made by Joe D'Amato, famous for the Emmanuelle films and Cave Dwellers!  Looks...awful.   ;D

I didn't even know there was a Troll 3.

Just like there's a House 3 and a Creepshow 3. :P
Global warming, where?

Bob

My goodness, someone actually thought that is something they want to put on film?

I don't get it.  Watching that makes me actually miss Cave Dwellers.  I mean, who's this schmuck pretending to be Ator?  Where's his melon like pecks?  Where's his cute little cape?  Why isn't he prancing around with Dong?  Where are the decent looking exteriors, or the decent sets?  And in the name of all that is good and true, what are you doing using dither dissolves?  You're no Ator, nooo, nooOOOoooo!

Ummmmm... I have no idea what's going on.

Sword of Power? The only alternate titles I saw for Troll 3 were "the crawlers" and "contamination".

Fuzzy Necromancer

I think this is a different troll 3, possibly Ator 3 or Ator 4.

So it's not a troll movie but rather an Ator movie? Or is it both? Do bad movie franchises branch in on themselves like a redneck family tree?

Woo lord!

The troll costume looks an awful lot like the goblins from troll 2.  I would say there is at least some inbreeding between the two movies, if only in the costume department.

According to wikipedia, there was a fourth Ator movie entitled "Hobgoblin", also known as Quest for the Mighty Sword and Ator III The Hobgoblin (singular, not plural), however, it was named "Ator III", because the third ator movie (the iron warrior) was made by a different director, and the original ator-man wanted to show his disdain for that director. Ator 4 is something like a remake of Ator the Eagle, but the hobgoblin is made with a suit left over from Troll 2.

Well I don't know, the Troll looks a lot taller than the old man from scene 24...
