I am going to see this. Yes, I will probably cry throughout the whole movie, but I will have seen it. I'll just have to remember to not see it in 3d because my tears will fog up the glasses.

Well he matches the new aesthetic. What has me intrigued about this movie is they're not scrapping the silly stuff in favor of the "gritty reboot" thing. So many reboots these days take a good hard look at the source and scratch all the silly stuff. I've seen images of party wagons, chairs made of pizza boxes, and here's our over the top Shredder. When you already have mutant ninja turtles, you don't get to be too gritty in your reboot. I'm really interested to see the result here. That's not to say I have faith that it WILL be good, but I want to know if it is, and I'm willing to spend 8 bucks a head at a matinee show to find out. :^)

I'm making my prediction public here... THIS movie will be the first (of many) to jump on the #YesAllWomen bandwagon (in a relatively tasteless way) by using #YesAllTurtles in its promotional campaign at some point.
