LOL! Yes, Swipe, I think I freaked out like this before and you talked me off of the ledge... I get it!

For me it was Batman.... and Dracula.... I really get it.

Your pedagogical myths are no less silly than mine.... We all have these things...

I just need to breathe until the NEXT Transformers movie comes out.... And then, I cannot promise you I won't freak out again!!!

HAHA!

Yeah, it wont be the last time I explain that.  I pretty much feel the same way about this Power Rangers reboot people are talking about trying to make.  I watched it a bit as a kid but never really stayed with it, I moved on and didn't look back.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

Oh my goodness! That you know that, is.... really quite remarkable!

I love the show, Comic Book Men, especially when the folks bring in something like that; a collectable, or a comic, and an expert can look for just a second and deconstruct the entire history of the object and give a valid estimate of it's value. It may be a useless skill compared to, say, astronomy, or Quantum Physics, but it is much more interesting to me, most times!

Although, I do study Astronomy and Quantum Physics, there are times I just wanna read some Batman comics, know what I am sayin'?

Ah, for fun....

It didn't feel like a three hour film.  It's surprisingly well paced with few few slow points.

I agree, it felt like a four-hour film.

I guess it was *terrible*, probably the better of the franchise all things considered as it toned down a lot of what made the other movies so painful (comic relief, annoying human characters) and surprising anti-tropes and character twists (what happens with Tucci's character.)  But *dam* this thing still is a mess.  There's not enough story to sustain a movie this long considering the whole story is just about the Autobots trying to recover another MacGuffin that'll destroy the world, or whatever.

Really seems like a lot could have been done to make the story tighter and shorter which, really, Bay *is* capable of, at least to some small degree.

I will give him *some* credit that the fight scenes were a bit more comprehensible and at least the Autobots used has distinct personalities and were in it a whole lot more than in other movies, and it's hard to dislike the idea of Optimus Prime riding a giant fire-breathing robotic dinosaur.

Cut this movie down to inside of two-hours and it would have been pretty... "decent."

At the very least, no Sia LeBeouf antics, his parents' antics (with his mother getting another lobotomy) and the fight scenes were a bit more comprehensible. Just a bit.  And there were some nice thrilling set-piece (like the high-wire crossing to the Sears Tower.)

But, god, this movie is still a wreck.

So by this pace we'll get an actually good movie by, what, Transformers 12?

Toyland Chairman

Saw this last night, and it's better than the first three. Still needs work, but it's a step in the right direction. Nice to hear Frank Welker is back as Galvatron, even if the character feels tacked on. They probably should've saved him for TRANSFORMERS 5.

He wasn't intended to be the big bad in this one.  Just an intro for him.  Like he said, we haven't seen the last of him.

It's already made $600 million. Who keeps paying to see this man's movies? And, more importantly, how can we find out so we can round them up and have them killed humanely?

. . .

I'm kidding about that last part, of course.

I don't care if it's done humanely.
I used to have an image here, but Photobucket got cheap about remote linking. I guess I'll have to think of something witty instead. Which I will. Later. It caught me by surprise, in all honesty. It's hard to be clever on command, I mean, YOU try it. Be funny: NOW! See, tough. So, gimme a bit, 'kay?
