Damn, these guys are polarizing. I've never met anyone who has seen the show that is indifferent to it. It's pretty much either "I love them! or "die in a fire!"

Count me as another one of the "Die in a fire" folks. You couldn't make see this movie even if it was riffed.

I thought trailers were supposed to show the good parts of a movie.  That trailer looks like a pair of 12 year olds dicking around with iMovie.

that is basically tim and eric except 12 year olds are a lot more coherent and dont act like they've simultaneously snorted cocaine and taken Quaaludes and then got a hold of a camera. and then proceed to try and produce "comedy" by dressing up as women and doing sh*tty comedy with bad graphics that try and make it "camp" but just end up coming off as sad, boring, and cringe inducing. this show always marked the point at which i flipped from Adult Swim to some other late night channel.

I consider myself indifferent... I haven't watched the show in quite awhile, but seen enough of them where at least I know I don't wish them to die in a fire... I'd get some chuckles here and there... altho that was usually when John Reilly or Zach Galifinifinalkis showed up.

There are two sides to Tim and Eric. I love their Local Access Television visuals and surrealistic humor, but when they decide to go for the gross-out humor... I'm not totally opposed to gross-out humor but maybe it's possible to be too good at it? It's OK in 15 minute doses, but I don't know if I could take a full movie-sized dose of their humor.

Compound

They host a radio channel in Saint's Row the Third. Listening to it is like a big spike being driven though your audio canal. Plus, the music is all Adult Swim stuff and it's not any better. I mean, I'm glad THQ got some cash for putting it in, but it's not my style at all.

Woohoo, I'm an anomaly!

Yeah, that's pretty much my take. It's eerie how accurate their public access style parodies are. I sort of respect them for pioneering a sort of "unsettling discomfort" humor instead of blatant "shock" humor, even if I don't actually enjoy watching it unless I'm in a VERY specific mood.

But I will forever be genuinely grateful to them for introducing the world at large to "The Room".

Also, Tim and his wife were in a short film/music video some buddies of mine made a while ago, so, there's that.

I agree with this as well... and I think it's why I generally enjoy Aqua Teen Hunger Force but thought their movie just didn't work.

Tim & Eric are pretty much hit or miss. I love their non-gross stuff like Steve Brule (and I heard Check It Out is getting a second season, which is awesome).

Agreed.  I loved ATHF until I got two seasons worth on DVD.  No way I could take it for two or more hours.

Never heard of them and I watched the trailer and there was not one smile in the whole thing.

Ditto.

When they miss, they miss big, but when they hit.... Boy howdy do they hit it.  Mostly, their songs were the best part of their show.... specifically when it just felt out-dated (like Sports!)

The other best parts of their show were just the cameo appearances by people.  I usually liked the bits WITHOUT Tim and Eric more than with.

They did a good live show though,
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.
