*EDIT: This post is idiotic. I'm only leaving up this unsubtitled German trailer.*

GERMAN TRAILER:

Darth Geek

I saw this a few years ago. It had it's funny moments. It's not the terrible studio film you expect based on the premis and title, it was more independantly made. Jeff Daniels is excellent in it (as usual) and really makes it work as much as it does. It's not bad, it's just not consistantly hilarious.

Oh! I just realized what Randy Quaid movie I was mentally confusing it with.

My thread should've been about this. Which, according to the film's web site, includes a supporting role by:
QuoteGEORGE TAKEI
Star Trek I-VII ("Sulu"), Mulan, Prisoners Of The Sun, Return To The River Kwai
http://www.majesticfilmworks.com/movie_bugbuster.html

Any comments on Bug Buster? Or Majestic Filmworks' claim that George Takei appeared in Star Trek Generations?

Never heard of Bug Buster before. I usually like Randy Quaid. Not sure about the premis, though.

And how exactly did you get these two movies confused?

i would recommend you check out Super Sucker, though. You might like it.

I'd passed these DVD covers many times at rental stores years ago. Both had moderately well-known actors mugging on the DVD covers, holding up an appliance.  Just a hazy memory thing, I didn't remember anything about either movies' plots. "Buster"<->"Sucker" [This is turning out be one of my stupidest threads. The only redeeming factor is that I spotted a stupid mistake concerning Takei's filmography.]

And how about Majestic Filmworks' revelation that George Takei played his own daughter in Generations?
