RVR II

I haven't read them either and now that you mention that, perhaps I shouldn't bother :o

Wow! That sounds thoroughly analized  :scared:

Well... "you bloody a$$hole!" is a British swear phrase [at least, that's what I'd heard back in the 70s], so it seemed appropriate to re-name the lit' to fit the Brit's snit.  :)

It's more British (and less unpleasant) if you spell it "arsehole".

Any issues with the RiffTrax main page should be directed to support@rifftrax.com Attempts to engage with me directly about such matters will result in ridicule.

Gonna' do a HP RT marathon over the next couple days: all of the ones thus far released, in order.  ;D

Or you could do it reverse order, Memento-style.

Finally the release that coincides with the first sketch that spawned the new look of the posters... Potter and the Halfblood Prince.

Here's the original sketch.

Here's the finished poster for reference:
Spoiler

AND here is the poster done with the original RT treatment...

We will be returning to a format very similar to the original look.  While I have enjoyed creating these fully illustrated posters for RiffTrax, some of us (me included) thought that the original look and feel that was already established worked well to convey what RiffTrax does... Make fun of movies... or as they like to say "Make Movies Funny"  ;D

Hope you have enjoyed what I have done in the past, present and will do in the future!

Bob

Nice sketch.

I am jealous of people who can draw/paint and am surprised that I cannot!

LucasM

I've enjoyed the drawings (and, like Bob, wish I could draw that well!), but I agree, the 'bobble' movie posters catch a certain parody-ic something that doesn't quite get across in the hand-drawn pics.  Plus the bobbles show off the guys versatility (as robots, Spartans, vampires, wizards, etc.)  :)

Oh... and still, Jason, the VERY first thing I do when I download a new RiffTrax is to insert your movie poster as the 'album art' for it, before I drag and drop it into iTunes (from whence it is copied to my iPod).  The MP3 just doesn't feel complete without your poster in it.

Agreed.  You are a good drawer.

If his clothing was stylish, you could say he was a good dresser-drawer.

If his clothing was stylish, you could say he was a good dresser-drawer.

If he did a lot of upper body exercises, you could say he was a chesta-drawer.
