The Book Was Better

[Edward J Grug III]

A new podcast called The Book Was Better which discusses terrible novelizations of mostly terrible movies has launched, and the first episode, as you've probably guessed, discusses the novelization of Over The Top!

It's really funny, and well worth checking out!

Full disclosure - One of the hosts is my wife, and the other is a good friend of mine.

I also know for a fact that they have many more movies that were also Rifftraxed coming up (not by design though)

The iTunes link is here (It goes to Australian iTunes, but it should then forward you on to the correct one for you) and their blog is here.

This is a joke right, this book is not real.  I just hit the floor laughing.

Ha! If only!

If you'd like to get a copy of the book to read along with the podcast:

[Bob]

So, in the novelization, is he called both Hawk and Hawkes?

[Edward J Grug III]

I thiiink it was Hawkes, but I've already forgotten. I'll take a look in the book tonight.

[Doctor Who?]

I find it hard to believe that the type of people who would buy a novel of Over the Top would be able to read.
