...from 1:16:10 to about 1:16:18? I was just a little surprised no comment was made about this in the riff and was wondering if there was some flaw in the video.

It's there to enhance the tension

Can one enhance what does not exist?

Or did you mean the tension of the old man's shirt holding together?

Maybe it was a seriously grotesque scene.. Wait the whole movie was like that  :gouge:

Darth Geek

I noticed that too. But I just thought it was another "chase" scene in the dark woods.

I compared it to the iriff VOD........ nothing was missed!

Cosmic Muse

Is this due to incompetent film making or does this movie have a lost reel?
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Actually it looks like a telecine error. Telecine is basically a video camera that records a running film. If the film in the projector breaks you have to pause the telecine, fix the film break, run it again and restart the telecine. Notice when it comes back the image is static and underexposed... that's the telecine operator making the adjustment.

There's a cross-dissolve right afterwards. Either they messed up switching reels or there was a bad splice.

After doing this you're supposed to edit the videotape to cut out the drop. They didn't, either because they were incompetent or they didn't just didn't care.
