A theater an hour less-far away from the usual theater I go to for Rifftrax shows finally got listed.  Unfortunately, the staff effed up and we got the regular trailers, the first ten minutes of "Harry Poter" and the Who-Gives-a-Damn", and five minutes of a blank screen while they tried to fix things.   :grr:

As a result, I and the rest of the Destin-area audience lost a ton of material and are hoping for an encore presenttion sometime within the next month or so.  Does anyone have any information on this?

Doesn't seem likely.  From the email I got today:
QuoteDon't miss your only chance to see Mike, Kevin and Bill riff this cheesy 1962 fantasy epic on the big screen!

The part that I bolded was actually bolded in the email too.  Hope you at least got some sort of refund or free passes from the theater.  If not, I'd be bitching up a storm if I were you.

The theater I went to in Redding said Fathom didn't "send it to them". So we got a refund but hoping for an encore all the same. Was really looking forward to this :(

At least you got your money back.  You really didn't miss much.

It's a live Satellite event; it was sent out to every one. Sorry to see that the theater didn't get things working :(

Well, ALL of the previous live events billed the initial showing as the "only" one and they all had encore showings.  So I'd say one is "likely" if not there will always be the DVD.

Not quite. All of them were advertised with two dates. The last one, House on Haunted Hill advertised an encore for a bit then it was cancelled and was only shown the one time. Like this one.

Is there going to be a studio VOD of Jack the Giant Killer?

Pretty sure I saw the HoHH RT:L event twice in the theater. It's possible it was canceled in some areas, but other areas still showed the encore.
