The Room Midnite Show Chicago July 15 2011

[imfrankblack]

Just dropping a line to remind all of you fans of that wacky Wiseau movie "The Room", it will be playing in Chicago on Friday July 15 at Midnight.
The lovely and historic Music Box Theatre will be running it.  All details can be found here at their website:

Now then, would I be a jerk if I came to the show, MP3 player in hand fully-loaded with the rifftrack to experience a fabled "In-the-theater-Riff"  Chicago Rifftrax fans, should we flash mob this theatre on the 15th and bend it to our own personal Satelite of Love?

I would never, never go to a movie and disturb the people there by laughing hysterically at the movie and ruining their good time.  BUT, I don't think anyone is going to see The Room seriously.  Or I should say, because they love the movie and want to see it on a big screen.  Heck No!  They're there to laugh at this turkey!

Has anyone ever had an "In-the-theater-Riff" experience?  Or am I flying too close to the sun?

I've been, and don't bother with an MP3 player. Seeing it in the theater is a whole different experience than just audio commentary. Sometimes there's participation, like footballs being tossed around, and running up to the screen.
