Three is the magic number—Three Musketeers, Three Blind Mice, three trained marksmen stationed at different points in Dealey Plaza.* Jurassic Park 3 follows the great tradition of movie trilogies where the person or persons responsible for the success of the first two decided to do something else while they still had a career, leaving whoever happened to be available at the time to finish the job—for further examples, see The Mummy, Scream and The X-Men series.

British guy Matthew J Elliott wishes the world at large to know that, in preparing this commentary (the first in history to mention vajazzling.**), he agonized over every single riff. Now it's your turn.

*As outlined in my forthcoming book, How Elvis Killed JFK—check Amazon for further details, unless it's suppressed by Government Forces or poor advance sales

**At least, I assume so. Hell, I can't watch 'em all. Maybe there's something about it in Casablanca or The Star Wars Holiday Special. But I sure as hell hope not.

What is it with you guys and skipping part 2?  ;D
There's an "iRiff" for that (Quiptracks did it, but it's not on iRiffs, just their site, I believe)

Just finished watching it, very funny! Kinda wish the "laaaadiees" line was left out of the sample, would have been much funnier had I not been expecting it.

I know. I already own it. QuipTracks is the only iRiff group that I have all of their riffs, though I'm working on others.

Perhaps someone should make a triple DVD case cover for the Jurassic Park trilogy of riffs.

Man, what a crappy movie!

We didn't think the riff was as good as the other two MJE riffs that we own, Die Hard and Armageddon, but it had moments. The movie didn't really provide as much to work with.

TheUnabeefer

I about died at the "InGen trouble" line...  I really enjoyed this one.   I just watched Dark Water the other day, and he seems to have grown more comfortable in his style since then.  Can't wait for his next one!!
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

Edward J Grug III

We felt like a lot more of the jokes were going over our heads than usual. Not sure if there were more British references or what. But when the jokes hit they were usually great and there were some really outstanding riffs.

I always enjoy MJE's work, though this wasn't my favourite of his. Still it was solid and fun.

As always, I look forward to his next Rifftrax!
FINE

MrTorso

I loved it. Not my most favorite MJE riff (that would be Planet of the Apes) but it was solid.

This was my favorite Matthew Elliott riff.  The movie was just so repetitive.  Again and again and again and again with the narrow escapes from man-eating-dinosaurs.  This movie stopped being decent after about the first dinosaur attack.

That's what happen when you start filming a movie without a finished script.

Can we rewind a bit... There's a QuipTracks riff for The Lost World? I've bought every QuipTracks available on their site (except that one Voyager episode) and I certainly don't have TLW. Are you sure it was QuipTracks? And if so, where can I get it, 'cause I would buy that in a second.

Bob

I really enjoyed this one.   I ever thought it would be possible to watch this movie again, but he did it.

Hm, it's no longer there, but I know they did it. Looking through my orders and there it is.

I seem to recall them talking about rewriting or rerecording one of their tracks, so maybe this was the one.
