You think this is bad? You've never been introduced to U2.com.  ;)

Do we need to stroke your hair and tell you "There there, it'll be okay"?

To quote myself from the other Star Trek thread:

I think we may have to have patience for this one, and the Rifftrax crew deserve it. Instead of making a "Sophie's Choice" between:

1. The Extended Collector's Director's cut, which most Star Trek fans already own, but is currently out of print
2. The in-print, easy to find 2009 DVD reissue, for which Paramount inexplicably reverted back to the Theatrical Cut (4 minutes shorter)

They are editing a 2nd riff so this Rifftrax will be compatible with either version you may have. For detailed differences between the two DVD versions, and how hard the Rifftrax crew are working to edit riffs that will work with both versions, check this out: http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=828. Furthermore, they'll have to create a RIFF file for both versions. They're working overtime.

It seems that not everyone's aware of the circumstances. Leniency, people! Here's an idea: spend the time you'd use complaining to watch The Wrath of Khan without the riff, so you'll get a few more jokes when you do watch the riff. Read up on some Khan trivia. Hell, watch the original Star Trek episode that Khan appeared in, I'm sure it's on Youtube. Or rewatch one of your other Star Trek Rifftrax to get your "Spooooock" fix.

I'm willing to wait, but you'd think that work would have been done ahead of time instead of on the day of release.

That's all we need to know, end of story. I think I better make your quote larger so more people will see it:

You seem to have snapped out of your Rifftrax fatigue, Starman.  :) Is it because you're psyched for this riff or my ridiculous attention-grabbing "marquee" text effect?  ;)

Apparently I should've written my future posts using "marquee", it felt like everyone who was complaining totally skipped over the "2 cuts" issue.

Theatrical

I just read on Wikipedia:
QuoteOf all six original films, Wrath of Khan was the only one to be remastered in 1080p high-definition from the original negative. Nicholas Meyer stated that the Wrath of Khan negative "was in terrible shape," which is why it needed extensive restoration. All six films in the set have new 7.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.

If anyone cares.                                                                                   This is getting old.
