HA! that reminds me of some audio files i heard A LONG TIME AGO called shakespeare man.  he would read different narations in a WAY WAY WAY over melodramatic voice.  His best was the opening to star wars a new hope

Every crap lousy moment of the movie.

An d the fatc that some Pscyhlos looked like monsters and some just looked like John travolta with a bad dreadlocks wig.

macleod

Actually, that was travolta's natural hair, he just wanted to make a movie where everyone looked a little dumber than he did

I have to go with the Cavemen flying jets option.  The fact that they are 1000 years old and still flying like new amazes me.  Were they sealed in a vacuum?  And that they can learn to fly them from simulators alone, in how long?  A week?  I don't remember, its been a while since I've seen it.  These are Harriers, not Cesnas, they are considered one of the most difficult aircraft to fly because of their variable thrust vectoring engine nozzles

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

The fact that ANY, and I mean ANYthing from the 20th century would be intact after 1000 years of neglect is utterly ridiculous

they might still be standing (to some meager extent), but they would be structurally unsound for anything....

Again, it's about maintenance more than anything

Well, the simplest structures at least would remain, things like the pyramids, and Stonehenge.

macleod

Precisely, but they aren't exactly "functioning structures" are they? They more or less exist... Moreover, erosion has beat to death many of these monolithic stone items from what they used to be...

This thing all things devours:

Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;

Gnaws iron, bites steel;

Grinds hard stones to meal;

Slays king, ruins town

And beats high mountain down.
