Windjammer: The Voyage of the Christian Radich (1958)

Buckle your seatbelts, this film takes you on the wildest wicker-basket-sled ride of your life!  Filmed in CINEMIRACLE and shown in CINERAMA to truly immerse you in the world of 1950s windjammer sailing, you may well develop seasickness at this restoration of a technological masterpiece of the 1950s.  This 1958 (documentary?) plays like your typical short, however it has been blessed with feature length status and a 100% born and raised crew of young norwegian sailors who, for some reason... only sing sea shanties in english.  Watching it tonight gave me the instant realization that the MST3K crew could literally blow this out of the water.  There is no way I could ignore this treasure of film history up when it clearly deseves the Rifftrax treatment and I hope you will think so too.
