Update information for RiffTrax could not be downloaded?

every time I open my RiffTrax Player it says there's a new update out so I try to download it but for some reason while it's on the step "Downloading: Update information from server #1" it stops and says "Error: Update information for RiffTrax could not be downloaded. Please contact RiffTrax for help". Is the server down or is it something else thats the problem?
