The Last Airbender

Hi Rifftrax and community.

I was at the movies yesterday and saw The Last Airbender. I know and love the series, so had to see the movie.... And I wish I hadn't. First of all, how could they choose M. Night shyamalan as director AND writer AND producer. The cast is giving a spotty performance at best and the story only works because of mr and mrs exposition (kitaras granny and general zhao).

I think it would be a fun movie to riff tho, because of the element bending and the not so good cast performance. And the overacting from some of the baddies ofc

At the Live Show last night, they got a couple of digs in at "The Last Airbenders" expense, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do this one.

Like, 4th thread on this. Search button, people. And they've already said at Comic-Con that they're doing this one when it hits DVD.

I'm sure that the guys can derive a lot of material from the fact one of the main characters is being played by that Harpo haired vampire from the Twilight movies. I watched this movie yesterday and the only ones that seemed like they were actually investing energy in their performances were Dev Patel as Zuko and the guy who played Uncle Iroh.
