School's out, and this summer, there's only one place to find elementary school children.  No, not the basketball courts.  No, not the movie theater.  No, not the swimming hole, they cut down the rope swing after Tommy broke his leg.  No, not the mall.  No, not skateboarding in the parking lot.  No, not knocking over a casino.  No, not freeing giant killer whales from captivity.  No, not protesting in advance the 2016 Sochi Winter Olympics. No, not recreating Jersey Shore episodes shot by shot with Playmobil figures. No, not...

**TIME PASSES**

No, not poaching rare California Condor eggs.  No, not participating in college health department cold studies.  No, not picking up Kanye West's dry cleaning.  No, not the swimming hole, LOOK, WE ALREADY TOLD YOU THEY WEREN'T AT THE SWIMMING HOLE! THEY CUT THE DAMN TIRE SWING DOWN AFTER TOMMY BROKE HIS LEG.  THEY ARE AT THE LIBRARY, OK? THE DAMN LIBRARY!!!!

Yes, the library, or liberry, if you're an idiot, is the hot spot in town for fancy book learnin' (replacing Luigi's PizzaMat, which held the title from 2004-2009).  Library World tells the story of two children who are on the verge of making this discovery: A little boy who's skeptical of how much fun you can have at the library and his friend, a more enthusiastic boy or girl who is well versed in the library-going experience.  With the help of a hot rod stealing 70's tool, who breaks new ground in the field of "having nothing better to do", they'll learn that the library isn't just a place you can check out books from.  It's also a place where homeless people can escape nasty weather because the librarians are too meek and defenseless to kindly ask them to leave because they're frightening other patrons.

Mike, Kevin and Bill head on down to Library World, where they tried to find out where they keep the old stacks of National Geographics, but were too embarrassed to ask the librarian.

Another short. Cool!

Guess what? Chickenbutt. Ha.

Also, by my count this is Short #93.

That is only counting What it means to be an American, The Case of Tommy Tucker, American Thrift and Call it free once each, and I'm assuming you don't count Signal 30.

When you release the 100th short I'll be all like "Wooo yeah! I've got 100 Rifftrax shorts!" And I will dance in a very shameful way.

Thrifty

I've been hoping for the longest time that they'd riff The Pagemaster, but I guess this is close enough.

I've counted each release (even the part 1 and 2's) separate so by my count this is short is #99 - only 1 more to 100!

Hmmm...I've been numbering mine, too, and this one comes in at 100 on my list (also counting two-parters as separate releases).  Maybe I let a "Rifftrax Presents" slip in.  Care to share your list?

There are no "Rifftrax Presents" shorts (too bad really).   I don't have written list but I didn't count Signal 30 (as I don't have it).

I went back and verified via the Rifftrax catalog - I have purchased (except the two given away from the live shows) every single short.  So I can say with certainty that this is short #99

Hummm...guess I was wrong. But even counting the four two parters separately, that brings Library to 97. I think I'm missing a few.

Two more shorts will make 8 dozen shorts, if the two parters are counted as one each.  So we're up to 94 by that count.  If you count the two parters as two separate releases, that's 98.

Right, which means if you don't combine the two-parters (and I don't see why you would, since some were released weeks apart) that Library World is number 100.  Right?

26 - Shake Hands With Danger

49 - Shake Hands With Danger

Is there a difference between these?  I was wondering why I only had 99 files in my shorts folder....

Can we just say there have been 99 or 100 "releases"?  Since the split shorts have their own intros and some have different riffers (OK, I guess only one has a missing guest riffer for part 2).

Numanoid

Thank you Marty, that's the flaw in my list.  I can't fathom why I have that in there twice, and so far apart.  But yes, it seems like "Shake Hands With Danger" belongs at number 48 or so, rather than 26.   Weird.  Nice eagle eye!

Now to go renumber my list.  ::sigh::
