Rifftrax Player Issue

I'm having a bit of an issue with the Rifftrax player. Whenever I open up the program, even to attempt to uninstall it, the same error message pops up that reads:

A connection with the server could not be established.

I did see in a search someone else had a similar problem, but I didn't see what the solution was. Any help someone could suggest would be very appreciated! Thanks

I believe if you just hit "cancel" or close that window, the player will proceed to work fine.
