Kolben

Character: Jacob
Played By: some indian dude.
Replacement: Gabriel Iglesias
Why?: Now let the chicks scream when Jacob takes off his shirt.

Hmm. Are we trying to make the movie better, or worse? Because both seem kinda impossible. Anywho:

Dr. Carlisle Cullen
Played By: Peter Facinelli
Replacement: Hugh Laurie
Why: Because Hugh Laurie should play all the doctors, all the time.

Ayriana22

Character: Isabella Swan
Played By: That chick who looked like a dude in Panic Room. (Kristen Stewart)
Replacement: Courtney Love
Why: Because at least then we would know the staring and the incoherent sentences were caused by something (mostly heroin, and she'd be the Heroine of the movie too!  :rimshot: But I digress...) And she didn't do such a bad job in The People vs. Larry Flynt. So maybe she's a better actress high than Kstew is sober... well i spose that is questionable too.

Darth Geek

Character: Jasper (Harpo)
Played by: Jackson Rathbone
Replacement: Crispin Glover

Why: Um, do I really have to explain...

Genius!  I couldn't agree more.
"Did she just say Chipping?"

Cosmic Muse

Character: Victoria
Played By: A little known Ginger haired starlet who was then replaced by Ritchie Cunningham's daughter.
Replacement: Carrot Top
Why?: Well, because he's equally as Ginger haired and could convincingly portray an evil, vindictive vampire harpy.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Character: Edward Cullen
Played by: Robert Pattinson (who was recently rumored to be playing Kurt Cobain in his upcoming biopic, but thankfully that's just a rumor)
Replacement: Young Johnny Depp
Why?: Because he's actually somewhat charming when he's mopey and stalkerish.

Basically, what I'm saying is, replace Edward Cullen with Edward Scissorhands.

In fact, throw out your Twilight DVDs and go pick up a copy of Edward Scissorhands. That's a tragic, whimsical/mythical love story done right. And the faux-Goth Burton fans who hang out at Hot Topic are so much more tolerable than the faux-Goth Twilight fans who hang out at Hot Topic.

Well, just got this link from IMDB:

QuoteKurt Cobain and Twilight rarely come up in the same sentence until now.  Rumors are beyond running rampid as a new interview came out reporting that Courtney Love wants to cast Robert Pattinson as her late husband Kurt Cobain.  The Kurt Cobain biopic has been the focus of attention for many years and as Love holds the licensing rights to the film, it will ultimately be her decision.  We got all the details for you today, and have official word from the Love camp.

In a recent interview with the UK Publication The Sun, a source close to Courtney Love is spilling all the dirty details on the casting for the new Kurt Cobain biopic.  The singer-songwriter from Washington changed the face of music when his band Nirvana hit the Seattle grunge rock scene in the early 90's.  Cobain had an incredible rise to fame, cultivating a generation, but sadly his fall was felt worldwide when he took his own life on April 5th, 1994 at the age of 27.

His wife, fellow grunge rocker and lead singer of Hole, Courtney Love, owns the licensing rights for a future biopic film on the life of Kurt Cobain.  It is being reported that Love wants to cast Twilight leading man Robert Pattinson as her late husband and the sultry Scarlett Johansson as herself.  People Magazine is reporting, "Love is working on a planned Cobain biopic and favors the Twilight star for the lead role."

Even though Pattinson has reached insane international success in the role as the teen heartthrob Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga, he can easily morph into the late rocker.  As many know, Pattinson is a very talented musician and many times has admitted to wanting to disappear from Hollywood and try the musician route.  The supposed "chosen one" has a pretty full plate starring in Bel Ami (2011), Unbound Captives (2010), Water for Elephants (2011), and the rumored The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (2011).

Love's manager told Spin Magazine, "That's an amazing story, and the first I've heard of any of this...  I'm not sure [Courtney] knows who R Patz is, but he sure is cute."  Although if the actor did get the part somehow, we are guessing he would find a way to work around his current projects.

So I think we're safe. They could certainly grab Pattinson for his star power, but his fanbase doesn't exactly line up with the fanbase of Cobain.

i will cut her with the broken shards of my Muddy Banks of Wishka CD if Pattison gets cast. I hope that day never comes. And yes you're probably right, not only is he not waifesque enough to play the part but his fans will have NO idea who he's portraying or what its about. Conversely, if he IS by some unholy means cast, this might usher in a whole era of '90s grunge revival, which would be a welcome change from this 80's crap going on now, baggy pants and plaid shirts i'm looking at you. That is just wishful thinking however.

Edward: Christopher Walken. A bit old for Bella but then so is Edward.

I cringed at the thought og Pattinsen as Cobain but after thinking a tick I don't think there's any part he could play I wouldn't cringe at the thought of.
