Yeah, I dunno if this has been an issue before, since I just signed up an all, but the thing is, when I download the VODs as either wmv. or M4V, I can't actually finish watching them. They fully download, or so says Firefox, and then when I go to watch, they play for anywhere from a few minutes to about halfway, then it stops, be it through Zune or Windows Media Player. Any ideas on why it's doing this? it never used to until this past week. ???

It happens to me now and then with shorts. The downloads get interrupted. When you start the download look at the file size and make sure you get the whole thing.

So basically, if at first you don't succeed, down-download again? :rimshot:

This has actually become a recurring issue for me.  Almost every short I download will only complete maybe 20% before it's interrupted and says it's complete.  Even after re-downloading the same file several times I have the same issue.  I tend to buy shorts in bunches, so it's very bothersome to start the downloads and have to retry for several hours every time.  Any help with this?

Use a download manager. Most have resume functions and if they get interrupted they start from where they left off.

At this point it's most likely a connection speed issue. I've learned that users on DSL tend to require a download manager to work... it's like our server is still waiting for your connection to say "Hi! I'm still here!" and when it doesn't get that signal, it drops the download. I'll email the server guys and see if they can tweak some settings.

But also, in the next few weeks (probably end of the month) we are moving both all servers (web, files, database) to a new platform that will deliver everything via a global network. I know it's a lot to ask, but yes - for now try your download again, use a download manager if you can, and bear with us for another few weeks until we can make the move. It'll be worth it.
