Film's final shot

[nurg]

I haven't even watched the Rifftrax of Avatar yet, but yesterday, when we finally watched Avatar for the first time, the last shot had us all going, "Aaaaaaaand his eyes open!" a la Space Mutiny. Going to watch the Rifftrax now and find out now if they went there.

[Plastic Self-Cleaning Duck]

That never occurred to me but....

[Dustin]

C'mon: what else were they going to do? Have him clench his eyes even tighter shut?

[lordthree]

You watched this thru till the end? Without rifftrax? Woa.

[Darth Geek]

That's an okay riff, but the one the guys say when his eyes open is the best riff of the whole Rifftrax.

[Scrivener]

Concur.  It's certainly the one you remember.  Best final riff they've ever done, unless you count Disembaudio's singing.
