I liked Avatar for what it was, a $13 tech demo.

I can't wait for Cameron to put the tech to use in Battle Angel Alita (which Cameron even said the whole reason he did Avatar was so he could see if the tech was ready for BAA so I don't know why people were so shocked at the "Dances with Smurfs" story)

Oh You..May 14

Doctor Who?

Ok thanks.  I don't mean to complain because I do enjoy shorts but I do wish it was getting mixed up a bit more like it was in past years.  I mean it looks like we are only going to get ten or so riffs this year if it continues at this rate and that pretty much leaves room for nothing but big blockbuster I like a release rate for movies that leaves room for surprise riff like The Room,Maniac, and TSWHS.  That said I don't want anyone to think I am bashing,I have enjoyed the riffs this year so far.  I just wish there were more of them.

May 14's actually the date of the next release, not the 20 Qs game.

Not sure if we're getting a game or not. Maybe it's too obscure a release for them to bother with a game? (Wishful thinking)
FINE

I am just saying the release rate this year is the slowest it has ever been that is all.  I just hope the next movie isn't 2012,I would like to see them do something that isn't a blockbuster.  Maybe it's the MST3K fan in me but some of my favorite riffs are the ones for low budget movies no one has heard of.  I just hope those aren't going away because they have cut back on the number of riffs they are doing each year.  In short I am fine with fewer riffs as long as long as they are not all the same type of movie.  i would hate to see Rifftrax become "Latest blockbuster bashing monthly".  That is all.

I think Beef is seconding that notion.

I'm also frustrated at the sparse number of feature traxs this year, but the quality of the ones we have gotten have been so good that if the cost of getting all 9-10 grade riffs is fewer per year, then yee-haw!

I just hope the fewer releases is due to preparing for something really big and special. (Cue RVR) From a business standpoint they've taken at least some hit in income from not having any new iRiffs up, so I would have thought they would offset that with more releases. Anyways, I'm looking forward to whatever they come out with.
