If you can't separate the art from the artist, I honestly don't know how you can watch anything.

I separate art from artist all the time.  This is a) a little different, and b) simply enough.  I've just reached a personal limit, that's all.  Won't affect anyone else but me.

I still don't get the Cameron haters, he made a typical summer blockbuster, a mindless fun ride, it's not like he's the only one doing that.

Oh I don't hate him.  He's just been very public with his statements about what he feels about people who know that "global warming" is a crock of shite.  He publically states that such people are poopyheads, I refuse to patronize his business.  All's fair.

I still like Aliens.

Then I came across the RedBox blog..

Avatar will be available at most redbox locations by Tuesday April 27th.

Then why did their customer service tell me it would be available on the today's release date?! 
Their customer service # opens up in 30 minutes and I won't be a happy camper!!
