I still don't get the Cameron haters, he made a typical summer blockbuster, a mindless fun ride, it's not like he's the only one doing that.

Oh I don't hate him.  He's just been very public with his statements about what he feels about people who know that "global warming" is a crock of shite.  He publically states that such people are poopyheads, I refuse to patronize his business.  All's fair.

I still like Aliens.

You're boycotting a director's movies, regardless of quality, because of his political views?  That's some straight up stupid.

He can have all the political views he wants, but if he wants my patronage he should keep his yap shut about them in the public sphere.

I could just as equally aim your sentence at Cameron and say "You're insulting a chunk of potential paying customers, because of their political (or in this case, scientific)  views?  That's some straight up stupid."

Ah, I think we just had a bromance divorce, Dale. Sorry. :(

You'll be back.  And I'll be waiting.

Like always.

Looking forward to this. I'm working an earlier shift than usual for the next couple weeks and I'll actually be home in time to watch it the first night. I liked Avatar enough to pick up the Blu-ray (If the price is $20ish or less) and the Rifftrax will propel it into true awesomeness!

(cough) Target. Blu-Ray/DVD combo. $19.99 on Thursday(cough)

If you can't separate the art from the artist, I honestly don't know how you can watch anything.

Why? How is "I don't like someone's politics" any less valid a reason  than "I think someone is a creep in their personal life" or "Wow. What came out of his mouth after than drunk driving thing was rather shocking" or  "I think Dane Cook is using up everyone else's valuable oxygen" and refusing to patronize their works?

Hmm.  This sounds familiar.  Where have I heard this before?  Oh yeah!  I remember!

ARE equally as stupid reasons to boycott a set of movies or TV shows.  The last one (about Dane Cook) is a critique of the quality of the work, and makes sense.

Political views and personal behavior have absolutely zero to do with the quality of the content produced,

Just as you'll be back to Cameron when Titanic 2 comes out.

I don't know if I could handle hearing the boy-man scream out "Rose!" another couple hundred times.  But on the flip side he'd be a wet zombie so that'd be cool.
"Did she just say Chipping?"

Given the large number of blue people in this movie, I think appropriate menu music would be from the Blue Bomber himself, Mega Man.

Smurf's theme for Chapter Menus.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

What? I'd think the most appropriate menu music would be "Blue" by Eiffel 65.
