Just getting into the Rifftrax scene

I was really really really sad I couldn't get to the live Rifftrax in SF. 
But I downloaded the file and I signed up (for a free trial) to Netflix to get a copy of Daredevil.  Not only was it embarrassing to ask for at my local video store, they said it was there, but they wouldn't help me find it.  Even after I explained why, even after they said they had bought some Rifftrax too.

I told them they should have a little section that carried the latest Rifftrax DVDs...they're an independant video store!  They can do those things.

I signed up a long time ago, as wahrwilf,  but haven't explored too much here yet, because I haven't gotten enough rifftrax yet.  All I have so far is Xmen, which I adored.
Soon, my pretties, soon I shall have.....5 more!!!!

Just wait until you have to purchase Crossroads. Even I was embarassed to buy that one & I'm a woman.

The purchase/rental of Crossroads is a holy pilgrimage that seperates the truest of Rifftrax fans from the posers. It is a demon that must be overcome if you want the honor of seeing every Rifftrax. :^)

Welcome.  I'm probably wrong, you might be the first person to have their screen name as a Rifftrax riff, rather than an MST3k one.  If so, congratulations!

P.S. If you had problems with Daredevil, just wait for Battlefield Earth!

Yes! They totally should. All video stores could do it, would be cool. Someone suggested a Netflix tie-in, but even a real store could have a rifftrax shelf. I've made sure that on Amazon.com you can use the rifftrax tag to find the right stuff.

Yeah it was but when I was in the process of choosing a new screename, I made the mistake of trying to do it from memory, and thus screwed it up royally.  In point of fact, I Think it was supposed to be 'Htom Sirveaux' so I got the last name wrong too.  But I kept it anyway, an deventually came to liike it better anyway.....

And since there's all the talk of Crossroads... I actually bought it off eBay from some mommy and me store and as if I didn't already feel bad enough buying it, the woman wrapped it up in pink tissue paper

Well, I had complained right after I saw the clip for daredevil that I wanted to change my forum name which was previously wahrwilf (Though I still LOVE that episode of MST3K to death, in my muddied dress and helpful other screaming voices) soooo and found out that I could ! Soooooooooo......yeah. 

Battlefield earth is going to be on my free trial of Netflix list.  I get 5 and they are all going to be rifftrax ones.  Haven't decided on the other 3 yet though...
