please put all samples on youtube, thanks. hate to be blunt.
that's just how we ride.

I believe youtube keeps removing their videos. Copyright claims and whatnot.

What spaceforarent said. If you want to never see samples again then sure, we can follow your advice.

I want to revamp the sample player at some point anyway.

But other than that, and more importantly, something more than just "it suckz!" would be helpful. What don't you like about the player?

Well, no FF/rewind and no fullscreen for starters.
But the sample process needs help overall, the samples are usually lame.
The one for Dark Knight for instance, not funny at all.  DK is a pretty good riff but you guys used not only a boring scene in itself, but the riffs (in the sample) were not that great.
Samples should not only be an interesting scene from the movie, but also one of the funniest riff scenes.
A better sample for DK would have been the 2 or 3 mins surrounding the Bat-cycle chase, from about the crash in the tunnel, till about the semi crash/flip, great riff-string, and cool scene.
I make good words.

I've often had the player skip on me, that's the only problem I have with it.

Gitcha, excuse me. The sample player sits on the bottom of the page so that I can only see half the picture and when I scroll up, t doesn't move and when I click to move it, it doesn't move and the fact that it skip when the connection slow is kind of lame as been previously stated. Would be nice if we could click the stop button and wait for the sample to load. thanks

"sits at the bottom of the page?" How low is your screen resolution? On a normal 1024x800 resolution monitor (and other resolutions we tried it at) the player sits dead center.

You're right, it doesn't move, nor does it have other functions like FF/RW.. mainly because it's a stream. We could probably do with a progress indicator, at the very least.

If I get some spare time once iRiffs and some other stuff is out of the way, I'll see what I can do to address some of these issues.

The only problem with your suggestion is that humor is subjective. What's not funny to you might be hilarious to someone else. But that's also why the voting feature is there - we haven't used it THAT much yet (still collecting votes on some) but the goal is to start swapping out the less-funny samples, based on ratings, with other clips that are funny. I'll check and see what the average is for the TDK sample and perhaps that will be the first one to swap out.
