I still find it funny that an American movie, made by an American ,and about an American comic book character came out in another country before America :D

I have to agree with you there. It is weird to have a premier for a movie made originally for American audiences in another country. Of course Godzilla: Final Wars did premier here in the United States despite it being a product that was meant for Japanese audiences.

Stange that i wasn't able to find a theater that was showing it,I would love to see a Godzilla movie on the big screen.

Cosmic Muse

I believe that only a select Los Angeles theater was showing Final Wars as part of its premier.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Oh :-[  I just heard that it was coming out in the US not where so i spent a could of weeks looking for a theater showing it.

Hells yes.  My finals end on Wednesday, so I can see it during the day Friday, minus a bunch of idiot teenagers in the theater.  And again on Sunday, because I am sure I'll like it enough to see twice in a week.
I like artificial grape flavor, but I hate real grapes.  A paradox!?

Hopefully I'll be seeing this movie on Friday with my mom.

Do you really think American movies are made for 'American audiences' and not the world?  that thought had never crossed my mind personally.

Where would Hollywood be if they didn't have our money.  If we are not good enough to watch their movies any more why don't they just stop releasing them here and move their head quarters and studios to another country?  How come my money is not good enough for them?

Tripe

Well some are but yeah generally American movies are sort of made for the world audience in general, particularly the really big budget ones.

So again Hollywood doesn't need our money and they clearly don't want us going to their movies, why are they still here?  Why don't they move to France or China?

I can't tell if you're trying to be funny or trying to make a point.

Are you really feeling so slighted because we got one movie about a week ahead of you?

Well my thing is I get this whole vibe from Hollywood in the past 10 to 15 years that they really don't like America or Americans.  I don't know I'm not upset or angry but it does make me wonder since they don't make any real money here and they don't really seem to like us why do they even bother?  I don't know it just strikes me as odd.
