Rank-a-Riff

Star Wars Holiday Special next. I can only hope that it'll distract me from how mind-boggingly horrible Battlefield Earth was.

No worries. Once you've seen The Star Wars Holiday Special, Battlefield Earth will be the LAST thing on your mind.

I think both BE and SWHS were both harder to sit through than pretty much anything on MST3k for me.

I just don't know how to rate this one.  The riffing was stellar, but the movie was so awful that I couldn't stop wishing that it would just end.  Even the hilarity of Mike, Kevin, and Bill couldn't make this watchable for me.  Literally took me about 8 sittings.

It's interesting revisiting this one, the guys depend a good chunk on going on long tangential rants. A solid but not amazing riff.
