Star Wars Ep3 and 6

[theflyer]

Does anyone know if or when they will be adding riffplayer files for Star Wars Episode 3 & 6?

[MrTorso]

I think the discs were authored in such a way as to prevent the making of a Riff file.

I know they couldn't make one for Episode 3 because of how the disc was made, so it wouldn't surprise me if they couldn't do it for 6.  Another reason I'm glad they're making the new player.

[theflyer]

Do you think with the new player they will be able to play those episodes?

[RoninFox]

From what I've read, the new player is being built on top of VLC which plays just about anything. So yeah, it should.

[theflyer]

Do you know when the new player will be out?

[RoninFox]

Don't think anyone knows the timeframe yet

[Conor]

No timeframe.  There's pretty much one guy working on it and he's not an employee.
