BE Cult Status?

So we know that BE was bad.
But do you think it will ever have a cult following like Plan 9?.
Is it one of those: "it was so bad it was good", type of thing?

This movie is on par with Uwe Boll movies, in that they aren't so bad their good.  They're just bad.  They are so bad that you wonder how it got made at all.  It's something that people can talk about for years, wondering how something this putrid was ever allowed to see the light of day.

I think it could be.  I think it's pretty notorious already.  And I think as long as there's an ironic appreciation for bad movies, there will be appreciation for the biggest, baddest, movie of 'em all.

Not quite true. Back in my retail days at Blockbuster, I worked with someone who LOVED this movie and couldn't stop raving about it. He saw it multiple times in the theater and many more times when it came out on video/dvd. Of course this is the same guy who brought his D&D guide book into work every day and raved about that to. In a related story, co-workers and customers often complained about his body odor and numerous female employees complained about sexual harrassment.

So there's your BE fan in a nutshell.
