I rarely understand any intense hate for U2 or Bono. Or, on an unrelated note, Coldplay.
Nothing intense, I just think their music is pants.

My list should be every U2 single that charted in the '80s just to piss off the Bono haters planet Earth. ;D

There. I fixed it for ya.

Old joke time:

Q. What's the difference between Bono and Jesus?

A. Jesus doesn't think he's Bono.

I genuinely don't understand the Bono hate. He's trying to use his fame and money to help people. What an asshole. Maybe he should shoot himself so poser teenagers can wear his face on t-shirts a decade later.

I rarely understand any intense hate for U2 or Bono. Or, on an unrelated note, Coldplay.

Curse that Chris Martin for layering catchy melodies and inoffensively pedestrian, syrupy falsettos! He should go straight to Hell. (If anything, we should hate him for naming his daughter Apple.)

ALSO, I really like the name Apple.

But I can't stand Gwyneth Paltrow. So I haven't gone all sunshine and puppykittens, really.

I have no problem with Gwyneth. But Apple Martin sounds like a type of bird. Plus, I can't say the word apple anymore without thinking of that Patton Oswalt bit about gay retards...

*Coldplay Rant*

Personally, I LOVE and ADORE Chris Martin. Listening to his music, albeit not great music, just makes me happy. It's the definition of audible prozac. Something about him and what he does strikes a cord with me. I don't care if you don't like Coldplay, and I think the Coldplay riff in Twilight was AWESOME!

Bella: Do you have to be dead...
Mike: To like Coldplay?

So, go ahead, be a Coldplay hater. I don't care. I love them now, and might possibly always love them.

Also, the only reason I don't loathe Gweneth Paltrow is because Chris Martin seems to think she's ok. Apple and Moses aren't what I would name my kids, but I really have no opinion other than that.

*Coldplay Rant Over*

I have no opinion on Bono

Dear god the 80s song is a bitch for me.. Not that I can think enough, but i can narrow it down with out feeling guilty!

I took my I pod 80s playlist (the condensed version mind you) and narrowed it down from 306 to 145... Good god.

Now to leave Rick Astley on or off.. He'd never give me up, let me down.... well you know.

To further fuel the fire that I might have bad taste in Music, I love that Rick Astley song.

I hope he's on the eventual list, I have a great story about when one of my sisters got hooked on vitamin J and it's connected to him.
