...aaaaand a new forum meme is born.

RVR: You're awesome.  Not everyone would take this as well as you do.

(which is what Sam Kinison said)
:rimshot:

Y'ALL ARE A BUNCH OF FREEEAKS!!! :scared: :speechless:

Hey now guys.  I think these two wouldn't have some sort of wishy washy song.

This is more their speed, hard rocking and macho.

Ah, who am I kidding.  It was probably like something more like this:

It's on my list but may not make the Top 25 (if that's how it ends up) :-\

No, there's not going to be a huge outcry for Billy Ocean or Firehouse in the list because we've mostly forgotten those songs, just like you won't be seeing "No Scrubs", "Sunny Came Home" or Cher's "Believe" on a 90s list. But those "obscure deep cuts" were all over the radio at the time, so I'd expect to see them.

Eff that noise, that song would absolutely be on my list. And Cher's "Believe" would be on my "Top 50 Drunken Karaoke / Celebrity Impersonations" list.

I'm not slamming Colvin. I'm just saying that those songs have slipped from the public memory. Say 90s music these days, and people seem to think it was just Nirvana, about 7 years of silence and then Brittany and La Vida Loca. With maybe some Radiohead popping in in the middle.

People are dumb and wrong.  There's also this.

Try getting it out of your head for the rest of the day. I dare you.

Every time I see seal I think, he's the nice parent, the one who buys the kids ice cream and takes them fun places, Heidi is the one the kids (and Seal to a certain extent) are scared of.

By the way, I don't think Britney would make the list. Everyone knows her best stuff has come out on her last two albums.

What? I'll fight you people.

I'm only interested in hearing about her next melt down :P

I saw Seal in concert (before Kiss From A Rose became a big hit but during the tour from that same album).  He was really good.  I think this was before Kiss was even released as a single cause it was just another album track during this show.  The big songs were Crazy, Don't Cry and Prayer For The Dying.

I think I still have the t shirt from that show.

This lady (a '90s one hit wonder) opened for him:

I would've liked to have thrown some more Hard Rock (even some Heavy Metal) into my 80's list cause I listened to a variety of music back in the 80's (including Techno - But Not No got-dern Cuntrey Meusic Neither!)

There are few Maiden songs that got pretty high on the UK charts.

Was Toxic on one of those? Hands down her best song ever*.

* Indeed you can also say that of almost anyone's cover of it.

Sadly their highest position is just outside the window for this list.
