The closing chord is the only part that really bothers me. The opening music I rarely hear much because I keep my speakers low then turn them up after I start the track, but the closing chord in the copyright spiel always seems too loud and jarring. I try and turn it off as soon as Mike is saying his last line.

That final chord is pants-messingly loud.

And somebody has to say it - Cinematic Titanic's music is way better.

I also start every rifftrax with the volume turned down until I get past the initial music.  I don't mind the music as written, but it's definitely played too loud.

I guess the closing chord for the copyright at the end is also too loud, but that doesn't bother me as much.

Invader_quirk

I say axe the music completely. It always feels like Mike is late to the Rifftrax and they're filling time until he gets here. I would like to just start the track.

I wouldn't mind that. Given that music doesn't have anything to do with Rifftrax, and it's not a "theme song" really. Now if it was a Rifftones song, that would be cool.

They've recorded how many songs as the RiffTones now, and they can't come up with some more appropriate intro music?

One of the best things about the DVDs is that the menu screens have songs relating to the movie, and they're really good.  I love that and I think it shows great talent on behalf of our favorite movie riffers.  I guess my point here is that they do pure a lot of thought and talent into their work and they do a great job.  They do give things like this consideration and I find it easy to forgive them for less than stellar intro music.  I actually don't mind the music so much as that horrible blarring noise anyway.

I love their theme song! Kinda reminds me of some cheesy spy movie theme music.

They need more bagpipes in their music.

Young_Nastyman

it'd be fine if they'd just add some cowbell
