Having trouble (again).  I've made Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers, but this time, the audio is drastically off on both.  I've made both multiple times to the same effect.  Does anyone know how to correct this?  Also, I'm still in need of a good movie joiner for Titanic.  If anyone can help me with these I'll love you forever.  Thanks.

Now when you say that the audio is off (for the Lord of the Rings movies) do you mean the Rifftrax won't sync or do you mean when you put them together the movie doesn't line up with audio? If it's the first then I have to ask, are you using the Extended versions or the Theatrical. The riff only works with the theatrical cuts of the films. If it's the former then I have no idea.

It's the former.  I added the rifftrax to the movie audio, burned them together, and played it, and the movie audio is about 1 second off of the video

Doctor Who?

Well what version are you using?  Also it sounds like all you have to do is redo the audio and just have it start a second latter or earlier or later depending on which way it is out of sync.

The problem is I have no way of finding out if it worked or not.  I could delete a second, but then it could be off the other way.  I'd have to complete the rest of it to find out if it worked or not.

Sounds like you need to add the delay. If you ripped the files using Rejig there may have been something at the end of the audio file saying "delay 0039ms" or something to that effect. You can either change it with delaycut or when you author the files back together put that number in the delay box.

OK...I'll try that.  Thanks.

You'll have to scroll down a bit to find the actual download.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

I tried that one and it was all screwy.  Part 1 worked fine, but when it switched over to Part 2 it fast forwarded for about  3seconds unsyncing the audio badly.  Unless you know of a way to fix that.

This fixed it.  Thanks a million.

No problem. I've had that problem a few too many times myself.

May have found a solution to the Titanic 2-disc problem...

Make ISO files of each disc with DVDFab, then merge the files.  Then use DVDShrink to compress the VOB files into one ISO file.  After that, use Virtual Clonedrive on the file so it can be used in Rejig.  This should give you the useable files to make one single file.  If this works, I'll make a more detailed how-to list.  Feel kinda stupid not thinking about DVDFab before though...

Nope...won't work...when I try to split the video and audio from the one file, it's still in two parts.  I guess I need to seperate the two files, so if someone can help me figure out the MPG2CUT2 program, I'd appreciate it.

Doctor Who?

There is a separate two part MP3 file for the two disc edtion.  If that doesn't work i would say you may need to get the single disc edtion.  i know it sucks but on the bright side i have seen it for as little as $1 on amazon.

It's not the audio I'm having a problem with.  That's already been synced and is ready to go.  The problem I'm having is joining the video files.  MPG2CUT2 joins them, the only problem is when it goes from File 1 to File 2 it fast forwards for 1-3 seconds and it screws up the sync.  But yeah, I've given up on joining the two files, so I'm looking to get the single disc version off eBay.  Sucks I gotta pay more, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.
