What's with the stupid creature names?

Good Imogis and Evil Burakis aside, what's with the dumb creature names? I'm talking about the following:

-Atrox Army
-Bulcos
-Dawdler
-Shaconnes

Seriously, who came up with these names? It sounds like rejected FInal Fantasy Boss names. It's as if they wanted to create names like Bulcos and Dawdler so that they could release toys based on the creatures so that the kids could play with them.

I mean, imagine kids playing with D-War toys:

KID 1: PEW PEW! I'm Shooting rockets from my dawdler. Take that Imoogi!
KID 2: No Way! I'm gonna destroy all your dawdlers Evil Buraki!
