Every worry about drift when there isn't any?

This may seem kind of stupid, but did anyone else ever think there's drift when not watching a rifftrax? Sometimes I'll be watching MST on DVD and think its somehow drifting, or I'll hesitate reaplying a joke because I think it'll mess up the 'track'.

No, I think you're alone on this one :-)

I, actually, have never had drift on a rifftrax that I didn't play on my computer so I don't even really worry about it then.  Even on my computer, the drift is so tiny that it doesn't matter much.
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

Oh of course, especially on the first few. Ooh was that riff too early? too late? One of the reasons I reauthor, I can be 100% satisfied on the sync.

I use the MP3/DVD player method, and I've been told I'm very OCD about it. Timing is EVERYTHING in comedy and I want my timing to be perfect. If disembaudio steps in a half second too early, I'm pausing both until it syncs up right. :^)

I understand what you're saying.  (he's not talking about Rifftrax, he's talking about MST3K)  Sometimes jokes are said a second too early, or the timing is just a little off.  But that take might have been the best performance, so it's still put into the show.  It's not because the audio is off, they just missed the mark a little.  Which is entirely forgivable considering the length of each take.

Yeah I am talking about MST3k. Sometimes I think i compulsively double check to see if its synced but there's nothing to sync.  :-

nervous habit i guess

Well, maybe quite a lot of captin if he's sloshing around trying to fix the sync to television programs.   ;)
