I just finished reauthoring with the slightly longer version, and everything synced perfectly.  Lucky I chose the right one.  I hate going through all the editing to sync up.  I had some minor problems with Star Trek, but this one worked fine using the 1:39:00 version.
I selected the other version and had to 'splice and dice' the trax to make it fit.. :-[

I already sent back the movie to Netflix and with my upcoming trip to Mexico on Monday, I don't have the time to wait for the disc to return and reburn the right version, so I'll go with what I got.. :-\

Well this has me a bit depressed no one else has the same issue. Will see if I can rent the dvd from RedBox and give it another go.

Well I don't understand this at all, I just picked up the DVD from Redbox and trying to sync it up the old fashioned way turns up the same results for me. Perfectly in Sync until "Who comes begging to me" line. Then the Riff is about 30 seconds behind the movie. I tried the Unrated and Theatrical but they are just bout the same length so I have no clue whats going on. I might have to skip this one  :-\

Well I found something interesting out, seems this drift i'm seeing only happens when I play it on my computer DVD drive. If I play it on my stand alone player the Rifftrax Syncs up perfectly. Maybe some issue with the branching chapters on the DVD?

I have never seen anything like this.

i have been reluctant to post this because I have just spliced & diced my way through it before, and didn't want to confuse anyone.  I have noticed that there has been a difference between  usining DVDFab & AnyDVD.  Sometimes AnyDVD will sucessfully rip the movie, but I am missing a few seconds here and there, usually after the switch between layers.  It may just be me, as I say, I never posted anything about it before, but now I am wondering........................ ???

I can't figure out how to select the Theatrical version of the film. Everytime I load the DVD in my BLu-ray player, it comes up Unrated Theatrical. I tried the setup and bonus menus and nothing. It is the unrated directors cut of the DVD but says it contains both versions. I'll try it in my computer with the riff player (hope it works)..

Probably would be easier to just use two different media players, since their player hardly ever works anymore.

well I sat down to watch it in the blu ray to watch it before the riffing, and this time it gave me the option, so I hooked up the ipod to the speakers and laughed at the bad movie..
