Which version ?

[thesciphishow]

There seems to be a version of this movie on Archive.org. Is that the version you are using ?

I'm happy to download and mix my own audio for it, that isn't a problem.

Or will the VOD version be the recoloured version they are selling on Amazon ?

Or something else entirely ?

Here's what Conor said in the 20 questions game.

If you want the DVD, you'll need to get this version:

Amazon:  http://www.amazon.com/Maniac-Narcotic-William-Woods/dp/B0000214GB/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1258671421&sr=8-13

Netflix:  http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Maniac_Narcotic/60001107?strackid=cf57998c68b1eec_8_srl&strkid=1239435744_8_0&trkid=222336

It's the Maniac/Narcotic double feature.  It's the best quality.

It's available on archive.org but we haven't verified that it works and the quality is much worse:  http://www.archive.org/details/Maniac1934

We discussed all this in this post:  http://forum.rifftrax.com/index.php/topic,16186.msg489766.html#msg489766

The product page also always links to the version of the DVD we used on amazon.

Oh....this is that movie where a guy eats a cat's eyeball, isn't it?

[torgosPizza]

Yup!

Umm....I've seen everything by Dwain Esper I could get my hands on but been avoiding this for that reason....
