Daredevil audio question?

Each guy had their own mic.  It wasn't an issue of mic quality, because they were all the same.  The shotgun mics can be affected by not speaking directly into it or distance from it though.

For the person who had an issue with synching, please make sure you're using the theatrical version of the movie, not the directors cut.

I didn't notice a problem, and I was listening for it (having seen this thread before getting the RiffTrax).

Got the problem fixed last night. Had the wrong version of the rifftrax. So uh...yeah. I'm retarded.

It actually kind of confused me. Does time move slower when you watch the PAL version of a movie?  :D I mean if both copies have the same elapsed time, yet one goes faster...my head hurts.

everyone talks a few octives higher (as well as being slightly faster) in PAL... or at least, anything recorded in NTSC and converted to PAL is a few octives higher is my assumption. Not really sure why it has to be like that, I dont think film has an NTSC or PAL standard.

Also I downloaded the NTSC version and I got:

                             -= Daredevil PAL DVD =-

in the readme file :P
The MP3 syncs up fine with the disembaudio times given but the DVD diverges from the readme file as the movie gets later. Not sure exactly whats up, but its definately the NTSC Mp3.

This was a typo.  We started with the PAL version and forgot to change that when resaving it for NTSC.  It's been fixed.

Hehehe

Yes, I blame you entirely.   :P

Kevin does sound a bit more distant than the rest of the gang, but much less so then when they did the live show and I was 2,157 miles away.

I think you mean Semi-tones, if it were octaves everybody would sound like Mickey Mouse. Traditionally when you speend up audio the pitch goes up to. With digital audio there are ways arund that, I'm not sure why the guys aren't using them
