Diary of the Dead might actually have been better if it weren't Romero making it. Someone else probably wouldn't have layed on the "We're the real monsters" crap so thick.

Back on topic, "18 Fingers of Death" was an awful, horrible movie.

Agreed.

Yeah, and just how can a person have 18 fingers anyway?
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Gadzooks, that's so obscure I haven't even seen it among the crap rentals at the video store. But this brings up an interesting point. What does obscurity equal besides direct-to-dvd status?

Hmm, it was among the headliner DVDs at my store, right next to Kung Fu Hustle, I was duped, and very angry about it.

It was definitely a misstep for him, since he's usually better about delivering that message in a not-hamfisted way. That said, I still enjoyed it, even if it's the worst of the ...of the Dead series.

I don't know of anyone, aside from me and maybe one or two friends, who likes the Cable Guy.

I like it.  I think my wife thought it was okay, and one of my brothers definitely likes it.

I know a few who liked it. It has an audience.

Cable Guy isn't a favorite, but every now in then I like seeing it again.  Just one of those movies you need a specific mood for

Boyfriend loves it, thinks I'm weird for not loving it.

It was discussed at my Thanksgiving this year.  The "wait, they didn't have forks but they had Pepsi?" scene in particular.

That scene always makes me laugh my ass off, I've actually eaten at once of those restaurants.  They had one in Myrtle Beach when I was a teenager and on a family vacation.  Except for the whole getting the audience to fight too part, it was exactly what you see in the movie, right down to the Pepsi.

If you ever go to one, try and sit in the Green Knight's section, that way you get to cheer for the cheating villain.  It's just more fun.

As an entirely off-topic sidenote, the band 'Them Crooked Vultures' was formed at one of those restraunts

Yeah, I think that band definitely sounds better in Dobly.

I didn't like Transformers 2, I thought it was a pretty bad movie. I don't know anyone that liked Transformers 2, my friends also thought it was a bad movie.

One of my friends had it as his pick for movie of 2009 in our best movies of the decade thing.  I need new friends...  :D
