Arrested Development = Funny.  The fact that it never took off as more than a cult thing is proof that TVland  (including and especially YOU the viewer) is retarded.

yea but i relagate it into the classic region of tv.  I said it WAS a sitcom anyways.  I just dont like to think of it as one.

How about the fact that you acknowledge that it was a sitcom but "don't like to think if it as one?" Is your brain okay?

LOL well its a classic sitcom of course.  I know i know you got me.  I just dont like associating it with other sitcoms.  can you imagine lucy in a similar category with dharma and greg?

Yes, I can imagine that.

I understand how you feel, though. I don't like calling arrested development a sitcom for exactly the same reasons.

there is probably a reason you've never seen it, am I right? (this might be too harsh but sorta along the lines of you can tell when something is going to be unfunny, Epic Movie, little man, ecetera)

Yeah, but Arrested Development has David Cross in it. That should be a good sign to fans of good comedy everywhere, and should set off no one's unfunny detector.

yeah i have a reason.  I dont have cable and dont generally watch tv.  I do a lot of movie watching video game playing and book reading.  When i am not at karate or at work or deployed :)  To get into a new show i usually find it easiest to just buy the DVDs.  :)

Buy some bootleg Arrested Development DVDs from Hadji (Spelling?) for $1!  ;D

And get me a copy of spirited away while you're at it.

Only thing I will warn you about the show, is that it gets progressively better, but requires viewing from the beginning.
