What "deliberate trolling"? I still cannot understand why this guy is still being taken seriously. I mean...come on. He waited several years, after the movies came out, after the DVDs come out, until when they asked him back to do The Hobbit and then said "no. Pay me more money even though I've already made millions off of this stuff. Gooba gooba goo." His claims simply do not add up. These are facts. Peter Jackson does not look good in this situation.

I've explained why I don't like the LOTR trilogy. It's poorly scripted/adapted (it's a bad idea for a writer to try and act superior to the work they adapt, if the work in question is on the same quality level as Tolkien's LOTR). It manages to be too fast-paced to be comprehensible and as boring as watching a snail slide across the ground at the same time (and I like long movies). The CGI is unconvincing. The acting is FUCKING AWFUL - because of the poor direction (the actors are great, under better directors). If Peter Jackson had tried to do the whole story as a single film, there would be only one more terrible film that I would have been forced to watch, instead of three.
