You release a Godzilla movie in IMAX... I'm probably gonna see it in IMAX. (Plus the local one is an actual IMAX, not the fake ones popping up all over the world.)

At this point I think I will abstain from seeing any more Godzilla 2014 images and trailers... Only about one month to go...

Think I'll just watch some of the classics over the next month.

Yeah, after the first trailer impressed me I haven't been going out of my way to see the new ones. The look of the Muto creatures has been spoiled ot me as well, which I wish it hadn't.

Really looking forward to this.

I really hope this movie is as great as it looks.....

Darth Geek

I really hope it's still fun, amidst all the gritty realism.

Major negative points for the use of the '98 Godzilla. ;)

Also, someone at Sony wasn't stupid - they used the song for their Godzilla 2000 trailer and TV spots.

Henry88

*sigh* no real imax is showing Godzilla in Alabama or Georgia.

This is one of the first godzilla youtube videos I made,I hope everyone likes it! And don't worry, there is no 98's "Godzilla" in it!

No problem. I worked at a multiplex that summer, and I recall Sony didn't start their marketing until six weeks before the opening. But they pushed hard. Of course, the movie did lousy business.

Still, some people leapt at the chance to see a Toho Big G in theatres - my college roommate saw it four times on opening day. Sadly, the posters were already spoken for, and I couldn't get him one.
