  This scares me.

  Trailer for "The Neighbors" by Tommy Wiseau.

   First there was The Room, by Tommy Wiseau, the auteur who has replaced Orson Welles in our hearts as the greatest filmmaker who ever lived.

   Now there's this - an attempt at a comedy which comes off as expectedly incoherent and insane.

   What scares me is this ...

   Monique La Barr is in it, who played Jill in my feature Shamelessly.

   Which means I'm now one degree of separation, as a director, writer and actor, away from Tommy Wiseau.

    I am scared.
