I saw the movie first on its own and can confirm that The Room is 10x funnier than the Rifftrax Mike et al came up with...and really that audiotron guy or whatever is annoying as hell, I'd rather watch those terrible sex scenes than listen to those unfunny annoying interruptions

I have bought a few rifftrax before but this sloppy, lazy effort puts me off

(sorry to those who will meltdown over criticism, gfy)

Now, now Mr. Wiseau there's no reason to be bitter.

Doctor Who?

Am I the only one who thinks this may just be a plant from the film company trying to stop rifftrax?

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm very hopeful.

Hell no, Wiseau if nothing else (and he is nothing else) is a man who feels that any attention is good attention.

That may be one of the most bipolar pseudo-apologies ever.

"I'm sorry if this offends you, but go to hell."

It's okay if you don't like it. Not everyone likes everything. I'm sure the lines you come up with are completely hilarious (especially when yelled out in a drunken slur in a darkened movie theater) - but to each their own, right?

OH! I almost forgot. If you really are funny, why not make some money at it? www.rifftrax.com/iriffs - amiright?

Instead of 'rifftrax customer', maybe you should've gone with 'I Hate Disembaudio and this Riff!!' (that's the toasters name you love so much.. :P )

Indomitus

Oh hai rifftraxcustomer.
In honest terms, I wouldn't put this Rifftrax among my absolute top riffs, but it's a good solid riff for a movie that fully begs for it.
And to those who join a board just to say that they're leaving... ROTFLMAO

This post is almost as funny as the movie.  Is the post meant to be a "dark comedy"?

I thought the Dis stuff during the "love" scenes was pretty funny, but I also wondered what a newer viewer not too familiar with Dis would think of it.

If this was one of your first Rifftrax, it might not seem funny at all.  Or at worst, it might seem confusing and out of place.

It didn't top the "Hole in my bucket" song during the last "love" scene.  For whatever reason, that had me rolling on the floor.

And I thought gfy meant Good Friends? Yes!.

Guess I was wrong.   :o

it wasn't the first I listened to one of the star trek ones, dr. moreau, a couple others

really just sad I blew $4 on some pretty weak material

personally think mike is the funniest of the bunch and carries the other two quite a bit

but this riff just didn't have it...also, been watching cinematic titanic lately and it seems like they are working harder on their riffs

actually mike solo on movies like plan 9 and reefer madness is way funnier than mike with the two mst3k b-sides

just my opinion don't taze me bro

Man! I Just Can't WAIT to See This One Naow!! ::)

Scrivener

Oh hai, rifftraxcustomer. <tazes him>

And just to be clear, you have the right to your opinion, and I'm probably not going to see this Rifftrax (due to rampant prudery and all), but if you expected to walk into this festival of love over one of the best-received Rifftrax ever, drop that opinion, and not get a razzing, you were mistaken.  Heck, I am probably getting more enjoyment from the dissection of this movie (and of the riff) than the riff itself would provide.  Definitely more than the movie would provide. (Those sex scenes almost struck me blind, and I didn't even see them!)

Good luck swimming up Niagara Falls, pal, and I hope you find some other Rifftrax that you enjoy more.

lol.  Cinematic Titanic has riffs?  Most of what I hear from the average CT offering is a flat, monotone line reading.

This is because of that comment I made over at Sattelite News, isn't it?

Wow. I think this is the first time I've heard anyone say they actually prefer Mike-solo tracks. I don't really understand your dislike for Kevin and Bill. Most customers prefer it when Mike has someone to riff the movie with, that's why Mike hasn't done a solo riff in a couple years. To each his own though, there's plenty of other stuff on this site to check out that you might like better. I counted about 26 catalog entries that either feature Mike riffing by himself or with a special guest aside from the "two mst3k b-sides". Those are usually slightly cheaper too, since you seem concerned about "wasting" $4 on MKB tracks. You should also check out the Rifftrax Presents and iRiffs sections for other performers you might enjoy. If you still can't find something that tickles your fancy, just take a break. You like Cinematic Titanic right? Watch the seven episodes they have out so far and then come back. We'll still be here after you're done.
