The Indy movies are the only ones that Harrison Ford even tries in nowadays.  I didn't particularly care for the last one, but the last time they mis-stepped with the franchise, with Temple of Doom, they made an awesome follow up.  I'll be interested in it, for sure.

Temple's my favourite one.

Then you sir, are a nincompoop.

Fuck yeah!

I am SO ready to hate this movie, everything about it, and hate you with the passion of a thousand Christs if you like it.

BRING IT ON BITCH!

It's not that you don't like it. It's that you don't like it because of things that didn't actually happen in the movie.  If it's going to be damned, let it be damned for what it really is.

Gaaaahhh! Ethics and strength of conviction on the internet!

Forget it I am not rewatching the movie in that kind of detail.

I made it clear in the thread tittle how I feel about the last movie and this one if that upsets you so much I will start a new thread.

I'm sorry that my not liking the movie upsets you so much.

God don't do that "I'm making an opposite thread so the people who disagree can talk about the subject I brought up" thing.  I know you do it because you don't want to upset people, but it actually damages your reputation instead of salvaging it.

Methinks you need to walk away from this thread for at least 18 hours.

Indiana Jones and the green screen of Doom!

Point me to an example of Indy himself being CGI in this movie.

Well, when Doctor Who posts things like this...

Quote
10)Watchmen
It was just great seeing it on the big screen

Then obviously his logic is flawed. He will condemn people for liking Indy just because it's Indy, but he enjoys something as limp as Watchmen simply because it was on the big screen. By that reasoning, The Room could be in his Top 10 list somewhere too. But Indiana Jones? Complete garbage with a CGI Indiana Jones someplace (although this is the first time I've heard that).

BTW I did not like Indy 4 that much, but only because the story was weak IMO.

Relaxing Dragon

I think the best way for me to describe Indy 4 is that I enjoyed watching it in theaters, but I don't want to own it. Does trade places with Temple of Doom from time to time on my Indy list, depending on my mood and thoughts towards that screaming girl.

As for the next one, I shall remain optimistic. Harrison's still got something left in him (and as mrbasehart pointed out, he only really tries in these movies anymore), I'll always have faith in Spielberg, and I happen to like Shia (not as much as I used to, but I'm far from automatically hating the guy). So, when this one comes out I'll deifnitely be seeing it (as, I can imagine, the rest of you will).

Who said Watchmen was limp?

I thought he was the best movie you could make out of that huge story and everyone in it did a fine job acting their parts,I didn't want to post all that so i just summed it up that it was awesome seeing Watchmen on the big screen.

Also everyone who i have watch Indy 4 with has commented on the CGI Indy, stunts, and sets.

Also don't preach at me about how I HAVE to like anything until you stop buying and selling rifftrax.

The rifftrack said far worse things about this movie then I have and yet I don't see any of you attacking the Rifftrax team.

It's really funny that so many people are putting so much energy into attacking me for not liking a movie that has been rifftraxed.

1.  It's their JOB to make fun of movies.

2.  Just because they riff a movie doesn't mean that they hate it.

3.  I don't see anywhere where anyone has said that you have to like this movie.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

Doctor Who?

so what with all the times they called Lucas names and said how painful the movie was on the track?

Sorry but it's stupid to attack someone for not liking a movie that has been rifftracked on the rifftrax boards.

I don't think that people here are attacking you personally.  All I see are people calling your reasoning into question when it comes to your viewpoints.  Are they being snarky about it?  Of course.  But look where you are.

EDIT: Regarding your first comment:

They may hate the movie because of what they said in the riff.  Then again, they may not.

For example, when I'm writing riffs for movies my riffs can become extremely exaggerated.  After you have to watch a movie 20 times in a row this tends to happen.  So, even though after riffing it I merely think that Titan AE is a harmless, silly sci-fi movie my riff is quite venomous.  If you just go by my riff you'd think I hate that movie.  But that's really not the case.  Just saying.

Ok here is my reasoning plain and simple I didn't like one second of the last movie I didn't like the Star Wars prequels and I think Ford is too old so I don't think there should be another one.

There I have had may say now you can question me all you want but it will not change the fact that I don't want to see this movie.

Carry on.

well don't worry about Ford getting to old, this is probably the one where he passes the torch to Shia
