I haven't watched The Room yet, but I was on its official website and saw a link to a sitcom that Tommy Wiseau is creating.  I felt the need to share this: http://www.theneighborssitcom.com/

I recommend reading the plot/synopsis ("The Neighbors is a sitcom consisting of relationship between a group of neighbors...") and watching the trailer.

What do you think, sirs?  (I hope this isn't considered off-topic.)

Pak-Man

Wow. So Tommy has no grip on drama OR Comedy. I love that the photos of the cast on the front page are all skewed, and you really have to see the whole synopsis to get a sense of what we're dealing with:

QuoteSynopsis of "The Neighbors
"The Neighbors" is a sitcom consisting of relationship
between a group of neighbors who live in an apartment building.
The lead character is Charlie, the manager of the building. The
tenants are a diverse group of personality of different ages and
backgrounds constantly bringing their problems to Charlie and his
secretary girlfiend Bebe. The character of Princess Penelope create
commotion by seeing the ghost of her uncle Prince Charles. It is a
fresh humorous look at human behavioe with different view points
including plenty of surprises. The demographic is all inclusive.

Plot:

In the pilot, Mariana is obses about bugs in her apartment, Monica
catches her boyfriend Den in bed with Patrick. Princess Penelope
arrives and Darren sings the song with tenants for her. Richard
becomes Princess Penelope's butler, handyman Ed prepares a birthday party for Bebe.

"Girlfiend"? That's vintage Wiseau, right there.

And the fact that we now know enough about Wiseau to be able to spot "vintage Wiseau" makes me very sad.

I hope the entire script consists of this:  "Oh hiii Bebe.  Oh hiii Princess.  Oh hiii..." and so on.

Same, I spent a couple hours one day finding all his reviews of his own films on imdb.

I really like the semi-normal first part of the synopsis, and then it falls apart with Princess Penelope. Even down to a few spelling errors. It's like Tommy started typing it, broke out into maniacal laughter and couldn't keep typing normally.

If you click more reviews for Homeless In America you'll find this little one from someone else:

QuoteHi, I am Jani Beck. I am listed as having been homeless and in the documentary on this website. It is true that I am in the documentary, but it is NOT true that I was homeless. I was hanging out with a few of my homeless friends back then, and the people doing this documentary came. They asked us if we wanted to be in it and told us what it was about. I told them right away, that I don't want to be in it because I was NOT homeless. But they said that I should be in it anyway, just as a friend of the homeless, so I thought, okay, why not. As they started filming they went down the line and then came to me. The first question that was asked was "How long have you been homeless for?" I was really confused at first, but then since I did not want to spoil their film, I played along and said "Not long" or something like that. Well, I just wanted to let you know that I was never homeless and in this, by mistake, I believe you could say.

edit - here's another review of Tommy's under another name:

QuoteFrom LasVegas July27 2004 screening at Palms Hotel Casino, 1 August 2004
Author: (DuaneSwirled@hotmail.com) from Sooke BC

The Room was an entertaining and purposely disturbing trek into a black comedy fantasy world that causes audience laughter. Just when I wouldn't be one to do the laughing others did, it was all over the place... and laughter did erupt in the audience. The performers were fit for the parts and as this movies world turned, they turned along with it. The flaws and strengths of these main characters were played out drastically, stretching the reality of this dark comedy into absurd levels of all too common real life happenings. Good work Tommy Wiseau!

You know it's him when you see the words "black comedy", "masterpiece", or "thank you Tommy"

Wow! I like this snippet:

QuoteLook for Mark and Lisa to be Hollywood's next sweethearts. They look just sensational on the big screen together. I don't know where Tommy found a couple that looks so much alike. When they are on the big screen together, they are beautiful. The only problem is Lisa is evil, and Mark is good. But Mark like the other men, is unable to resist Lisa.

I was thinking more Central Perk.....

Please tell me this will never see the light of day.

Just because people laugh at his attempt at drama, Wiseau suddenly thinks he can do comedy. Where's that "SMITE" button on God's computer when you need it?

Doctor Who?

I just went to the website can someone please tell me how to get my soul back?

GARGH!! :gouge: :gouge:

W . . . T . . . F?

Okay, so Wiseau seems to be to drama and comedy what Uwe Boll is to action and video game movies. Someone please get it though his thick skull that he has no talent.
