Yeah, I suppose you have a point...that's kinda what I liked about 28 Days Later: they eventually starved to death

I liked that plot point a lot.

I also liked the fact that world decided Screw the UK, lets just quarentine the whole damn place and kill em all.

Well, I think that was probably closer to reality...because the UK is an Island, such an effort would have been possible. While I know a lot of people who didn't like 28 Days Later, it was def. one of my favorite horror flicks

I thought it was a cool movie.  However, it DEFINATELY wasn't a horror movie.  The ads for that movie were crap.

drama, sci-fi, post-apocalyptic.... just NOT horror.  They advertised it as a friggin slasher flick, which it isn't in any regard.

True story, I had a music teacher in college who made this rant about how stupid Texas Chainsaw Massacre was and compared it to 28 Days Later. He said something to the effect of "If I was a person in Texas Chainsaw Massacre I would have just kept driving out. Where as in 28 Days Later there is no way to escape it."

well being able to escape CLEARLY makes a worse movie i mean deep impact was CLEARLY better than chainsaw

Just got the dvd in the mail yesturday in preperation for Fridays trax.  Watched it last night and am now dumber for it.  I hope there are a lot of comparisons to the Island of Dr. Moreau made here.  This one was that bad without even trying to have the moral lessons Moreau did about messing with nature.  I want my hour and half back.
