Not a film, but a venue

I'm wishing that the Rifftrax people would set up a booth at the San Diego Comic-con.  I know it's too late for this year, but maybe next year?  I think it would be great publicity, considering the fact that there will be over 100,000 people in attendance.

So, I hearby request that the powers-that-be consider getting a booth at the 2008 San Diego Comic-con and flouting their skills and touting their wares for all to see.



At the least, I would be happy to wear a Rifftrax t-shirt and pass out cards or something.  They wouldn't even need to pay me for that...

I do believe they tried? Yet couldn't get in? I remember some talk of it at the live show. But I was also seriously drunk the whole time so I could be wrong.

Not sure what the deal is yet. We may get a booth, we may not. I think that would rock, as well as a presentation of some kind. But it's all up in the air.

We're right there so it makes sense to do it. If anything does come of it, we'll let you know. We have some people who know how to do plan this kinda stuff, so we'll see.

One of my friends has applied for a table at Comic-Con in San Diego to promote his new comic book, and everything is still up in the air for him as well. He's still sending things in and faxing last minute paperwork to the powers that be. So if Rifftrax is actively trying to work things out, it could still happen.

I think Rifftrax would fit in pretty well at any of these kinds of events. You don't need Mike to show up or anything to promote the company either. Just get a dealer's table and send Torgos along with a nice banner and a suitcase full of T-shirts, stickers, and CDs!

It would be awesome to see Rifftrax at Comic-Con this year. If it's too late for a table, how about a Rifftrax showing at one of the areas hotels? Or even a late night showing/or possible live Rifftrax at the Con. Either way, I'll be wearing a Rifftrax shirt one of the days there.
